Where do I even start? This gym made me fall in love with Muay Thai again. Wes Wasmer is an excellent coach. I’ve trained under former Lumpinee champions and at some of the top US Muay Thai camps, and let me tell you, Wes can hang with any of them. What he might lack in experience, he vastly makes up for in communication, motivation and attention to detail. He relies on physical queues, rather than anecdotes, to get the most out of his athletes. While I’m not an MMA fighter, this is DEFINITELY the gym to be at in Kansas City if you are. You simply can’t find the experience anywhere else, that you find with Jason High and L.C. Davis. The entire ATTHD fight team is a force to be reckoned with. Last but not least, there’s no tough guy environment. This is the perfect place to come workout, even if your goal is just getting in shape. ATTHD will get you there! I can’t say it enough, but I’m gonna miss this place.
